Web Systems Developer

DUTIES
Include finding creative technical solutions to automate tasks and increase productivity for the IT department and the company as a whole. This includes:
- work on internal and external websites;
- Tools to handle internal forms and ticket requests;
- Tools to update user accounts;
- Tools to enhance customer service for internal customers, including gathering requirements, defining the scope of projects;
- Establishing Quality Assurance scenarios and creating documentation and instruction on the use of tools created;
- The ability to work with limited supervision and coordinate efforts with team members who are geographically dispersed is required; and
- You will rely on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals while the amount of creative control will very greatly by project.

The Web Systems Developer will:
- Manage the architecture of the Web systems (intranet and extranet;
- coding, release, and maintenance;
- Work with customers, technology vendors, and internal clients;
- Troubleshoot, debug and implement new software code;
- Create reports for the business as necessary; and
- Maintain necessary documentation.

Basic/Minimum Qualifications:
* A minimum of 3 years of experience in the field
* MS SQL and Visual Basic development experience
* Knowledge of Dreamweaver, Visual Studio, Classic ASP, ASP.Net, IIS, Active Directory
* Knowledge of MS QL/Access, Database Architecture, SOAP and AJAX
* Develope, Test,and Modify application software
* Experience managing source code repository and maintaining a version control system (CVS or SVN)

Preferred Qualifications:
* Ability to work in a heterogeneous environment,
* Unix/Linux experience
* An understanding of Virtualization concepts and practices. VMware VI, ESX, VLM
* Ability to understand/code in Perl, PHP, Unix/Windows shell, C#
* Marketing support experience, Search Engine Optimization, Google Analytics, Flash
