Director of Content Quality

We are looking for an experienced content management professional to serve as Director, Content Quality for the TripAdvisor sites. Reporting to the acting VP of the Content team, the successful candidate will be responsible for oversight of all functions that support the quality and integrity of content on our sites.

Responsibilities Will Include:
- Ongoing assessment of content quality including developing and monitoring key reports that show quality of user generated content and customer & trade satisfaction with site content;
- Oversee fraud monitoring and detection team including oversight on metrics, risk assessment, process management and identification of process gaps;
- Manage relationships with hoteliers including both inbound and proactive outreach;
- Manage site translation efforts including working with local market experts to assess accuracy and consumer satisfaction;
- Oversee core site content accuracy including hotel, restaurant, attraction listings and destination ;
- Work closely with product managers and engineers to concept and develop product and tool enhancements to close gaps;
- Manage acquisition of third party content as needed to fill gaps; and
- Manage, mentor and grow a team of more than a dozen staff.

The success of this role will be evaluated based on customer & trade satisfaction and a content quality/accuracy index.

Requirements:
- 10+ years experience in content management related roles at an organization where content is the leading consumer value proposition;
- Demonstrated ability to quickly assess problems and spot trends early;
- Strong analytic skills and teamwork a must have;
- Demonstrated excellence in people management;
- Experienced business judgment required;
- MBA preferred
