This position is responsible for the development, implementation and operation of CIT Business Analysis tools, processes and measurements. This includes developing, implementing and communicating within CIT a Business Analysis practice.
Responsibilities:
- preparing business cases for presentation to governance bodies;
- assisting CIT Product Managers and Service Owners with financial/business analysis; and
- working with CIT Finance.
Types of analysis will include but not be limited to:
- In-source vs. Out-source decision making;
- Acquisition or development of a new technology or functionality;
- Replacement of an existing technology with a new solution;
- Purchasing of additional capacity or functionality for existing technology;
- Consolidation or separation of operations;
- Adoption of a new process that would affect multiple business units;
- Replacement or choice of new vendors;
- Lease vs. Buy decision making
- Situations when the bulk purchasing rates can be realized; and
- Change in allocations to multiple business units (could be triggered by any of the items above).
Position Description:
- Responsible for all aspects of the development/implementation of projects and programs involving department or cross-functional teams focused on the delivery of a product or program from the design process through a finished state for internal/external customers.
- Provides a single point of contact for projects. Takes projects from original concept through final implementation.
- Interfaces with all areas affected by the project which may include customers, client services and various departments (e.g. marketing, computer services etc.).
- Defines project scope and objectives.
- Oversees/coordinates all aspects of project and serves as project manager between clients, line management and internal and external resources.
- Plans and directs schedules as well as project budgets.
- Monitors the product/program/project from initiation through delivery, interfacing with customer on all matters.
- Assesses project issues and develops resolutions to meet productivity, quality, and client-satisfaction goals.
- Develops detailed work plans, schedules, project estimates, resource plans, budgets, and status reports.
- Conducts project meetings and is responsible for project deliverables.
- Manages the integration of vendor tasks, and tracks and reviews vendor deliverables.
- May provide project management guidance to project team. Recommends/takes action to direct the analysis of and solution to problems.
Minimum Requirements:
8+ years experience in designing, building, and implementing business solutions. Significant experience in project management.
Business Experience:
- 8+ years financial professional financial analysis experience.
- Experience in high tech or healthcare industry is a plus.
- Big four accounting firm experience is a plus.
Education
- 4-year degree in related field or equivalent experience.
- MBA preferred.
- CPA or other financial certifications is a plus
