Sitcore CMS Developer

We need a SiteCore Developer who will be working closely onsite with our client’s business and technology teams to gather, analyze and fully understand business and technology requirements for the purpose of migrating their corporate intranet websites from Eprise (CMS) to the SiteCore (CMS) platform. This is a long term consulting assignment based in Piscataway, NJ.


JOB DESCRIPTION:
•Prepare a comprehensive migration plan to efficiently migrate the websites working with an offshore team of developers.
•Produce system design documentation, and quickly produce high-quality code within the .NET framework architecture as well.
•Debug and test new software or significant enhancements to existing software applications.
•Effectively interact with QA to quickly diagnose and resolve system problems as well as create release notes, operating procedures and technical documentation.
•Prepare system specifications and manage technical reviews.
•Ensure issues with software are identified and corrected as efficiently as possible.
•Provide management with accurate estimates of effort to accomplish assigned tasks, and keep management and team members informed of progress and any issues impeding progress.
•Work with CMS (Content Management Systems) development as the focus of this position, using SiteCore and .NET environment.

REQUIRED SKILLS:
•Have extensive experience, at least 3 – 5 years, building websites using SiteCore CMS and an overall software development experience of over 6 years.
•Have knowledge of ASP.NET, C# or VB.NET, PHP, XHTML, CSS, SQL Server, AJAX and Hibernate development.
