Job Description:
Reporting to the Development Manager responsibilities will include developing statements of work, scheduling, budgeting and authoring requirement definition documents.

Projects will include website development with CMS and Sharepoint integration, creation of large online virtual experiences using Silverlight .NET framework, HTML 5 and .NET web applications.

This is a client-facing role requiring effective communication and management across several internal disciplines: strategy, user experience,creative, technology, quality assurance and client services (e.g. account and project management).

Budget responsibility:
Responsible for managing the budget of technical projects.

External relationships:
You will be required to attend client meetings in a consultative capacity throughout all phases of projects.

List of duties & tasks

Project Management:

�Engage with Clients and Account Teams to ensure a full understanding and definition of client requirements.

�Communicate clearly and effectively, both verbally and in writing

Define Accurate:
�Scoping of projects
�Development of Project Plans
�Cost Estimates
�General project documentation

�Engage with account teams to ensure that the project objectives are realistic and achievable within the timeframe and budget specified

�Own the overall solution and delivery schedule and delivery of the project on time, within budget and to quality, liaising with internal disciplines to meet deadline

Team and personal development:

�Ensure team members' career expectations are met as appropriate and consistent with Metia's requirements.

�Work to identify opportunities for personal development for yourself and your team

�Identify and attend appropriate training courses

Person Specification

Technical/role Knowledge and experience:

�The right candidate will have a successful background in technical project management
�Will have experience of accurately planning, managing and implementing technical projects
�Will have extensive experience in IT, including experience of implementing Internet technologies in a business environment.
�Experience of implementing Microsoft based solutions.
�Experience of delivering projects in an agency environment is desirable.
�Structured approach to Project Management- MS Project essential and PRINCE 2, PPP and or Scrum desirable
